I don't understand the pricing.

The coupon site says after the coupon it will be $499. How do they get this?

Retail is 749. 30% off of that is 524.3.

Dell is currently selling the monitor for 599 it looks like. 30% off of 599 is 419.3. If this was the base price used, and you added on the $60 off coupon, that would bring it down to 359.3.

Where does 499 come from?

[/ QUOTE ]

Someone just copied it from fatwallet.com ... we all get the 500+ change as well, and it has not been confirmed that the 60 off 500 stacks with the other, though the details of the 60 coupon say:

[ QUOTE ]
Offer may be combined with select other offers. Only one coupon may be applied per cart at checkout.

[/ QUOTE ]

As far as it being 600, thats what I see as well, but I would assume that price will disappear prior to coupon being let loose. So who knows? Worth a shot if you need one

Anyone know if they ever do any codes in the UK?

[/ QUOTE ]
Not seen coupons etc, but it is occasionally marked down for a few days at a time. Still not seen them offer it cheaper than eBay, though. Bought mine from a seller called EricBunny for 420, IIRC. Took a few days to arrive, but otherwise no problems at all.

The 30% off is applied to the price in black that is crossed out, not the price in red (IOW, the red price is a "special," and you must apply the 30% off to the regular price). After applying that 30% to get down to ~520, the rest of the discount comes from the $60 off $500 coupon that *should* stack.

And yes, I would jump on this sooner rather than later. Its been a while since they've had a sub-$500 2001fp, and I can't remember the last time it was under $400.

This is what I am getting:

30% off = $749.00 - $224.70 = $524.30

$60 coupon is stackable = $524.30 - $60.00 = $464.30

Free shipping. Tax = $23.21.

Total = $487.51.

How quickly do these 4000 uses coupons get used up?
Do I need to set my alarm clock in order to get up in time to use one?

[/ QUOTE ]

Does anybody have any idea what the answer to this question is? Will I be safe to wait until tonight or will they be gone by then?

Edit: If I put the monitor in my cart & apply the coupons, can I wait to process the order (put in my credit card number) and wait until tonight to process it?

The forum linked by the OP says all will probably be gone by 5 pm. Plus the $60 off electronics coupon can be used on many more products and will probably be used up sooner.

I got the $464 price too, but had to pay tax for living in the same state where dell is located for a total of $502.

Why are you guys paying tax? Is there a Dell store in your state? I didn't pay any, and they don't call this place Taxachusetts for nothing.
