How does he check raise you if he is behind you?

What are you afraid of on the turn with the nut flush?

he was talking from Villain's POV. i said that Villain should check behind with a one or two pair hand.

if you have, say T9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] or AT[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], then betting here would be awful. you have a decent, showdown worthy hand, but you're giving your opponent a chance to check-raise bluff you off.

there's no reason to bet for protection since the flush draw got there...your best interest at that point should be keeping the pot small and seeing showdown.
