They let me change mine, I just emailed and simply asked them if i could change it again. I doubt they would ever say no, it would risk driving business away. I know that I would not play there as much if I was stuck with an avatar that I no longer liked.

how often do they let you change your sn? because its bullshit if they dont let you do it often.

We don't see it that way. If you constantly change your screen-name, then how are other players to recognize you? That's part of the interest of the game, adjusting your game to your opponents. If you're a constantly moving target, then your opponents can't adjust their games to your style. And of course, you can't adjust your game to them.

Poker without that aspect loses a lot of its appeal.

I see your point, and its valid, but the number of people using tracking software and datamining can put players who never change their screenname at a huge disadvantage.

If people didn't leave their computers on all night to track what I was doing while they weren't playing, then get some program to put up that information, I wouldn't have a problem with not changing my sn.

You can't datamine at Stars. It only saves hands you actually play on your hd.
