No.

Saying "raise" is fine, and then moving your chips in, or saying I'm all-in is your other option.

Be careful, the fellow sitting next to me in Event #2 said "I'm betting," then pushed out a stack and tried to go back for more - and he was denied the chance. As it turned out, he had pocket kings, gets called for the single stack by AJ and winds up losing his whole stack.

In other words, don't be fancy - be direct.
