I don't see them caring too much. Their bonus system seems to be more like super-rakeback than anything else. I think the bonus is temporary until they hit a critical mass of players.

Totally bottomless. You can deposit 10K, they won't care.

Your shitting me.

I earn 1 point per hand. I only need 3 points per bonus dollar. So that $1 for every three hands I participate in. At 20% VPIP that's $1 for every 15 hands or nearly $15/hour multi tabling. Am I reading this wrong?

2- ive been looking and couldnt find anything, but there refferral program is pretty generous, you earn 40% of their first deposit up to $200

[/ QUOTE ]

Well, this is partially true. You do get up to $200 for referring someone, but they are BONUS dollars, not just straight cash. Since you can deposit for unlimited bonus dollars, they aren't actually giving you anything here. Just one shot of bonus that you didn't have to deposit for.

I think this may have been stated earlier, but you could deposit 10K and get a 2K bonus, but you will not be able to withdraw any money at all until you clear that bonus. If you try to withdraw before that you will lose the bonus.

You get 1 point for evry hand that's raked more than $1.

Rake Points
$1.00 - $3.00 1.00
$0.50 - $0.95 0.50
$0.25 - $0.45 0.25
$0.05 - $0.20 0.10

Is it 3 points for every bonus dollar or 2 points for every bonus dollar?

actually 20% VP$IP does not include the blinds, and plus the site is very loose aggressive so you can probably stand to see a few more flops than usual when you have position. I usually estimate about 1/3 contributed hands at full ring and 1/2 contributed at 6-max. so if you play high enough limits where every hand is raked at least $1 (generally $2/4 LHE or $1/2 NL), then it's about 11-16.5c bonus for all hands. this is maybe slightly better than standard 10x sites like Absolute, Paradise and UB, but not ridiculous.

also note that at a 10-man table, a $1 rake would be attributed 10 cents per player, at 16.7 cents shorthanded, so paying 11-16.5c back in bonus is just slightly more than 100% maximum rakeback equivalent, and then higher limit players are less than 100%. you sound excited about $15/hr playing 3-tables, but many sites have about the same or better rate.

regardless, bodog is a good bonus deal for ring players, and a great deal for tourneys. it's obvious that they're running their poker room at a slight loss while the sportsbook and casino pick up the slack. whether it stays that way in the long run is anyone's guess.

Yeah they do; I think these are actually there most popular games. The regular cash games can be hard to find a full table, but the low limit sng games are always going strong-- i think one reason is it's an easy way to accumulate the poker points to get your bonus money freed
