Default Re: Where to play 2/4 limit? Party, Absolute or UB?

At any game where the rake is capped at $1, you're paying $.10 of it (in theory, at a 10 seat table). Each $1 raked pot gives you 1 Ultimate Point. 10 points = $1 of bonus, so 1 point = $.10, or the portion of rake you paid.

If you play a game with rake capped higher than $1, it's not 100% rakeback because you still only get 1 point per hand max, but pay more than $.10 in rake.

Okay,
I found my reasoning:
At UltimateBet you pay 25c/$5 vs at Absolute you pay 50c/$10 (all pots between 15-20 and 25-30 is raked 25c higher). Your share of the rake will thus be appx. 1c higher pr hand.

How it comes to bonus, you get 10c pr raked hands at Absolute while at UltimateBet you only get 10c if the pot reaches $20. For pots <$20 Ultimatebet gives you only 5c bonus. Quite many pots are <$20 at 2/4.

Rakeback does not effect which site is best as the best MGR site without rakeback also is the best with rakeback (as the %s in rakeback are similar)

At Absolute I get 25% rakeback, which would give me $2.5+$5(bonus)=$7.5/100 or 1.88BB/100

i would pick absolute if you can put up with their crappy software.
since you can earn boni and rakeback at the sametime where as at empire your bonus comes off the top. plus rakeback will be ending at all part skins by the end of the year.

I've only played 1161 hands of Absolute 2/4 but 964 of those hands were raked which may affect your calculations.

I don't have enough data yet or the inclination to do the math but because Absolute rake more hands I think it's close between Absolute with rakeback and Party without.

At Ultimate The UB points equals a 100% rakeback

How you figure?

Well, perhaps I was a bit to hasty, cause it isn't exactly 100%. However, if the pot is raked $1 (your share 10c) you get 1 UB point, worth 10c. Is it raked 50c, yoiu get ½UB point, worth 5c.
Problem arise, when pot is raked 75c or more than $1, then you don't get the correct number of UB points to make it 100% rakeback.

You should consider adding Bodog to your list of sites to consider.

20% bonus on all deposits, and, at 2/4, you'll work it off quickly. However, it can be hard to find limits games going there.

Not quite sure of their rake structure and bonus structure for ring games, so haven't done the math. But they're contributed hands, right? Anybody done the math?
But were planning on doing them for my SNG play (200% rakeback is sweeet)

I haven't been to UB for awhile, but I'm almost certain that their points are worth far less than that. I think it's more like 2/5 of a cent each.

What I mean is, for each UB point you earn, you release 10c from your bonus account.
On top of that, you can use the points for various tourneys, where their value is like 0.005$
