I think this is a hand where the buyin of the tournament is relevant.

meh, the buyin is unimportant. you're only saying that the buyin is important because you want some implied reads. that gets to the real problem. this is very read dependent. a lot of money can be either made or lost by making mistakes or good plays in this spot.
it is frequent that the worst hand that a person is going to call like that with at the higher buyins is going to be AK, but not always. it's dependent on the particular donkey you're playing against. i think it's important that people get off the whole "buyin dependent" thing in some spots, it's just another way of saying "got any reads?" in this spot though, i don't konw if you can get away from jj. this does however, become a spot i think where you might consider a stop and go. citanul |

Oh, and I was assuming low buy-in = donkish opponents. Throw out most of my advice if opponents are good.

[/ QUOTE ] Exactly often the only reads when 4+ tabling and/or browsing the web are implied reads. In a $10 my money is in the pot almost immediately in a $100 or higher I probably lay this down, anything in between im quickly browsing my HH to see if I can pick anything up before timer runs out. |
