60%+ W$SD?

I think you're folding too many winners, bro.

(And 50k at 2/4 is ridiculous... I played 20-25k and have been doing fine at 3/6 through my first 11k.)

I've just moved up to 3-6 after about 8000 hands I've been winning about the same avg as 2-4. I've taken a little more time with my table selection. And if a table gets changes and the donators are gone I don't stick around. And I don't think it is to hard to find good tables.

I find the 3/6 game on PP to be much tougher than the 2/4 game. The 5/10 game is much easier than the 3/6 imo. I play mainly during the day and find most 3/6 tables to be full of tags and rocks, where at 5/10 there are still tonnes of maniacs.

Either way the 3/6 is still very beatable. You still don't have a large sample of hands, so it's possible you are just running worse than normal. I suggest you get it up to 20k hands then take another look and see what the results look like.

You must do a ridiculous amount of datamining right?

FWIW, I don't agree with this at all:

I don't play during the day and I'm mostly speaking of 5/10 full, but really, this is the opposite of my experience. I've been playing 5/10 full for the last 3 weeks or so *if* I like the table. I'm usu on a mix of 5/10 full, 3/6, and maybe even a 5/10 SH. Sat night though I had 4 5/10 fulls up and they were all good games.

Well, if you play during the day, you'll get *tonnes* of maniacs from all of the European players. Time change and all.

It's hardly necessary. I don't datamine 3/6 and I have a huge buddy list. I also leave the table if the donators leave, and I'm picky about where I sit. If you were to datamine it wouldn't take a huge amount. I datamined 24 hours or so of 5/10 and found over 50 players that pokertracker rated LPP or LAP. Table selection is key. If you don't realise that you are costing yourself money at small stakes poker.

I think there is a period of adjustment to any new level both from the player standpoint and who you are playing against. I found the move from $.5/$1 to $1/$2 to work pretty well although $1/$2 was considerably tighter then $.5/$1. I am still struggling somewhat with the $2/$4 tables, there are a few more aggressive moves that I did not see at the lower levels and my BB/100 is reflecting that. I had a BB/100 of less then 1 for the first 8K hands or so. I am just now starting to get a handle on it and have improved my BB over the last 10K hands to 2.8/100.

As I said, some was the style of play I saw and some was my 'uncomfortableness' at losing $20-$30 on a hand which I think made me move into weak/tight mode too often. I know a lot of the posters here have suggested playing at $1/$2 6 max to work on your aggression (and I have and it has helped!!!) I also do 'rehab' work at the $.50/$1 tables from time to time where I can learn and not get wrapped up in the results.

I have the bankroll to move to $3/$6 now, but I am sticking at $2/$4 until I am consistent somewhere near 2.5 BB.

On the plus side, I am crushing the $.5/$1 tables lol
