Re: Another College Student Story
[ QUOTE ]
I win about 4BB/100 at 1/2 (20k hands), and am certainly a winning player, but I don't have bankroll nor do I have any supplemental income at this time. The fact that I have other stuff to do has severely limited my playing time, so I haven't been able to build my bankroll. [/ QUOTE ] I stand corrected. You are clearly ready to support yourself with poker. |

Re: Another College Student Story
I think a lot of the guys considering going pro are guys who 4 table the 15-30 making 100+ an hour. Your obviously making a lot less than that and your considering going pro.
edited to add but still good luck to ya. |

Re: Another College Student Story
I'm not going pro. I'd only do if it if I didn't have a job coming out of college, and it'd be under the idea that it would be temporary and more for fun.
And I don't think I'd ever claim of being a particularly great player. I just wanted to post a college student story that wasn't along the lines of "I'm going pro and dropping out because my grades have fallen completely. I think its because I read the college topic about how college students shouldn't go pro and it was depressing... |
