I am assuming we are giving villain KQ here, given his line?

[/ QUOTE ]

He could have AQ, KQ, QJ, whatever. Hero is tight and has shown nothing but strength. Sometimes it doesn't matter what we are beat with, you just need to know that you *are* beat. A big part of the problem is that 3-betting is going to get 4-bet quite often here.

Who knows, maybe hero wins. But that's just not a very good 3-bet IMO.

yeah, he seems like a tight reasonable, who thinks schneids is a tight reasonable player. when he check-raises, he says he can beat a T. If he can beat a T, he can beat J's-full. So, he's either check-raise bluffing, with a busted flush draw, a tight reasonable player, on a uber scary board, or he has schneids beat. i mean if the guy's bluffing what hands is he expecting schneids to fold? you're right on, it's closer to a fold than a raise.

Bingo. I play some hands badly. I like my flop/turn combo given the past encounter. The river blows.

[/ QUOTE ]

Props for owning up to it.

The only reason to post a response now is to bump the thread, thereby keeping you humble.

a truly humble player wouldn't need to say they play some hands badly because it is taken for granted, sorry schneids but you have just been burned by the bruiser.
