3. Need to be fearless. If you're scared of losing $400, you shouldn't be playing these limits. This is partially tied to the bankroll stipulation but is very important. I'm a very aggressive player and find it very easy to steal from players you can tell do not want to lose $400.

TRP makes ranting posts if he loses 1 buy in at $25NL.

If he lost $400 in a hand, I can't imagine how quickly his head would implode.

I wouldn't consider myself really smart but I do have a college education. What are chances of me being able to beat 2/4 NL online ?

[/ QUOTE ]

Just get the pattern mapper. You'll be ok.

You have to be at least in the top .5% of all people. When you play 2/4, the players are capable of folding K2 on a KQ2 flop (he was probably looking for a 222 flop and was going to fold if he didn't hit!). There are also players who will call a $3 raise preflop with A3 and then call on the flop with bottom pair and a flush draw (WTF!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?), and then make funny bets when they hit. 2/4 is really difficult, so I wouldn't recommend trying it.
