I'm the best man for my brother's wedding next month. Our plan for the bachelor's party is pretty much as follows:
Do it the weekend beforehand. Limo the crowd around to dinner / bars. Rent the top floor of a popular bar to use as a vip area. Strippers. Suitcase of drugs a la Fear and Loathing. Afterparty at a nice house in the suburbs. That's the rough plan, you'll probably save yourself a bunch of money if you set it up yourself, which shouldn't be too hard. We were also thinking about flying everyone to vegas, but that looks like it will be out of budget.
