I was considering getting two 2001FPs, it would have been cheaper, and allows me to 8-table. But the gamer and movie buff was drawn to the 2405FPW.

In addition to setting the screen saver and power options as previously mentioned, you might want to invest in a LCD cleaning kit. If you are playing poker all the time you are bound to sneeze and there will be snot everywhere - including your new monitor. Belkin makes the kit I bought and it was like 7 dollars at Best Buy. Whatever you do, don't apply Windex or any derivative thereof to clean your LCD. It could possibly damage the screen. Also, be gentle when wiping it and make sure to apply even pressure. It's possible to turn a group of crystals off permanently if you press too hard. That would be a shame.

Use water or some specialised "LCD CLEANER" to clean it. Use a cloth rag (yesterdays t-shirt), never a paper towel. Don't leave it in the sun. Leave it on as long as you like.

Nope. From a seller on eBay, we agreed to do the deal on PayPal so he can avoid eBay listing fees. His rating was 100% with 4000 comments, so I knew he'd be reliable.
I have no idea why I didn't have to pay customs fees, the FedEX guy just came, delivered the monitor and left without mentionning anything about taxes. So that's another 160$ bucks I saved. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
