Re: Should I know I am beat?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] I think Id fold preflop. But Id prob call down from where u r and expect to see a king with a better kicker! [/ QUOTE ] Its only another $1 to complete SB [/ QUOTE ] What you mean to say is that you are getting 9-to-1 to complete if BB checks his option. I would like it better if suited as the 7 does not have much high card value. |

Re: Should I know I am beat?
[ QUOTE ]
I think leading is better than check-raising. You said he raised top-pair hands, second-pair hands, and draws. If you check intending to raise, he will take the free card with the hands you beat, and bet the hands you don't. Then, when you check-raise, you open yourself up to a 3-bet. After he raises your turn bet, call down. [/ QUOTE ] Good advice, I called down and he had Q 10. Flopped the straight guess there wasnt much else I coulda done except fold preflop, but with mini blinds it was only a DOLLAR to complete |

Re: Should I know I am beat?
I would call turn raise and check-call river.
I do not think you are necessary behind, possibly just tied if BB has "king-rag". If you are behind you have outs to win or tie. |
