The pot is already big. IMO, he should maximize his chance to win it. He wants weak draws to fold and no one other than him has represented strength thus far, he cannot risk a free card.

Your argument makes it sound as if Hero is already ahead. Hero is the one with the weak draw. I highly doubt Hero is still ahead here more than 25% of the time. Also, 8 SB is not a terribly big pot, it's pretty average.

I'm not saying a bet is clearly wrong, but I think your defense of it is.

RESULTS: UTG had 56, I probably missed a bet on the river.

For those commenting on the flop, I bet because I am getting 8-1 immediate odds to take down the pot right there, and there is also the possibility of eliminated players thus increasing my chances of winning the pot.

Pre-flop, if there were one limper this is an auto-raise for me. 2 has been borderline and depends on my reads. This too tight of me?

Flop, since you raised I guess its almost an autobet.

Turn looks fine, I"d bet the river.

With how many opponents would you just check?

I can't decide whether it's correct to bet out on this or not. I'm randomly guessing that somebody will have a king 50% of the time. So you only need all of your opponents to fold 25% of the time that nobody has a king for it to be breakeven, and many times you will still be ahead if nobody has a king.

I guess it's also pretty easy for Hero to call a raise and fold the turn unimproved.
