I 3-bet it because I don't care if no one else calls. If I get it heads up, a lot of times my AK will be good UI. Plus, if they want to cold-call 3 bets, yay for them.

99.8% of the time, you should 3-bet.

Can you tell me about the 0.2% of the time it is correct to cold call? I don't see why.

It accounts for misclicks, timeouts, and people you know only raise AA.

I think both the call and the raise are fine here.

You are holding AKs which has both an edge headsup as well as multiway.

Either one will win its fare share of pots and only difference I see is that when you are heads up or 3-way you win small pots, but you'll win em quite often.

If you call and get a multiway pot and you flop your nut draw be it str8 or flush then you'll win a monster pot.

which is more +EV I'm not sure, but I doubt there is all that much difference.

If you knew that your opponent had AA then you should be folding AKs.

Personally i'd 3 bet to get it heads up that way you'll have position on the preflop raiser and also if he caps you can narrow his hand range right down making the rest of the hand easier to play. Even if he just calls you can put him on an accurate range of hands. I dont think your hand does that well multi-way unless you flop a flush draw, so i want this heads up really.

by cold-calling, you hide your strength, and invite more dead money from lower pocket pairs, suited cards, etc. of course reverse implied odds are here, but you have the nut flush to bail you out.
