I lost $14,000 in one hand of 4-8. Do you really think he cares if I call him a village idiot?! Have you ever lost $14,000 because you misread your own hand???

Dammit but Ray Zee was right. I wish I had kept $45.75 in my shoe!!!

I will give you 100 if you can prove this story. I'm not sure if i'm runing a joke that everyone was going along with, but this has to be false. I mean, i'm pretty sure after the 50th bet, i would double check my cards. And probably every 50 bets after that. Plus, even if i had the nuts, i would probably stop after 250-300 bets in case i was completly blinded by something, like an ace high flush for example.

Vehn,

As he restates in a later post, the car is a 1999 model.

I don't have the kind of scratch to stake someone a full $45.75US, but for the right deal would consider staking a percentage of that. Let me know if you're interested in forming a syndicate to get this together. I'd be willing to put the extra 75 cents in if it turns out the soup is Campbell's Chunky Sirloin Burger. That is some tasty soup.

On a side note, if anyone would like to stake me $8.50 or so, I feel I have a good shot at working this up to $45.75 by playing nickel poker.

Bad Beetz,

I think 34 million is far too high to bring to the table at a 4-8 limit game. I have never sat down at a 4-8 table with more than 2 million and I've never even come close to needing it all. I'm starting to think that sitting down with something significantly less, like 20,000 or so, might be sufficient.

In addition, this might help you set a few bucks aside to pay for your meals.

assuming all the bets were in turn i wonder how long it took two players even on the big bet turn and river, to bet out 14000 in chips. i also wonder how much space it would take on a 4/8 table for two people with this many chips.

are there any poker room managers out there that would actually hand over that many chips to a 4/8 player. that is a lot of racks.

What I find truly unbelieveable is that anybody on this board is wasting their time talking to this P'ToQ
