Re: im trying to fold more, hows this?
He has to bet the turn because a lot of pairs will call the turn and river and he gets an extra bet over checking through.
I feel like he's almost certainly got to have it when they check-raise with this board, and you can safely fold. This makes it equal to just checking through and calling the inevitable river bet. If you check through, he will almost certainly bet out on the river with any pair, and of course the straight. There's no real "induce-bluff" value by checking this turn. This makes this a very easy value bet, and fold to a raise, given the pot odds calling 2 bets to win 7.20 bets (he needs to be bluffing 21.7% of the time). |

Re: im trying to fold more, hows this?
You got check raised by a tight player on a board with four to a straight. You usually behind to a straight where you are drawing dead, and sometime drawing vs two pair.
This is a very easy fold some of the advice on here is really pretty bad. It would take a very special read for me to call this down. Nice fold. |

That sounds like a bad idea to me, especially since pairing the board could fill up a boat for the other guy and you may be drawing dead to a straight already. I think you either have to give this c/r credit or not, going halfway is just a wasted BB. |

Re: im trying to fold more, hows this?
I cant fold an overpair to this checkraise. Against this player, you could be folding to a diamond draw (in which case you're ahead), or two pair (in which case you have outs). Im surprised to hear you consider these stats ugly; these stats strike me as those of a winning full ring player who is somewhat new to 6-max and whose PFR isn't high as some on this board would push. The stats to me would indicate a competent player, albeit one who does not push every last edge. Plus, dont forget that a guy like this is not going to give you a ton of credit for a great hand given your position, and presumably the stats he has on you.

Re: im trying to fold more, hows this?
wsd of 32 suggests to me that he's getting pushed off the best hand a lot.
