I read ITH first and it was a big help to my game. SSH came out shortly afterwards and that helped me even more.

When I bought ITH I was a new player and found it very easy to read.

Thanks everyone.
I made my choice – ITH first, SHHE second.
I still have lots of questions after WWLH and feel, that need the stronger basis for SHHE, I hope I will get it from ITH.
Could you explain what does B&M mean?

B&M = "Brick & Mortar" = a place that exists in real life, as opposed to on The Interweb, e.g. "DiscountDildoWarehouse.com has the best prices, but if it's an emergency, there's a B&M dildo store on 5th and Church".

I was in the same place you were a month ago. I read and re-read WLLH and it definitely helped my game.

But it also made me a little weak and a little tight and, yes, I was seeing some monsters under the bed.

I moved on to GSIH. I didn't feel quite ready for SSHE, but I wanted to get on board that bus. GSIH is, I suppose, sort of SSHE-lite: a good beginner/advanced beginner text that will get you playing a solid, agressive limit game and (I'm guessing) well prepare you for the more conceptual SSHE. I am moving on to SSHE after I finish my current time-consuming detour into NL SnG via HoH.

I found GSIH really, really accessible. The structure of the book -- playing through one hand in every position on the table -- made learning the material really easy. The starting hands charts are significantly easier to learn/digest than the starting hands info in WLLH. And I do feel like it made my game quite solid.

I may even go back and re-read WLLH now that I've spent time working through GSIH, just to see how I feel about the content of WLLH now.

My vote: GSIH.

That Lee Jones has a tendency to put opponents on way too good hands, at times even fearing that flop calls might mean you are beat.
