I think you should have kept raising on the flop to make the rest of the hand eaiser. I also think the turn 3 bet is very bad, you want to showdown cheap here.

When this type of player is capping the turn you are in big trouble. I posted a similar hand not long ago folding KK. I think that an A or a Q on the flop with this player and you will almost always be beaten when they start showing so much aggression. Those 2 cards on the flop are generally BAD.

You are in big trouble. Your opponent has QQ. Why the turn re-raise?

probably a break even player or a small winner

What makes you thinks this? Seems pretty solid to me...

I think folding is ok, but I would probably be calling down. If the river is an ace you can check-fold. The pot is huge, and since your 2 outs to kings are pefectly clean, your opponent would only have to be getting too aggressive with AQ or KQ (or worse) once out of about 12 times to make calling down correct.

I ended up calling down and my oppenent showed QQ. I think three betting the flop would've been the best play or i could've folded to the cap against this opponent.

I have about 11,000 hands in my database showing him as a very small loser, so it's not likely that he's a big winner. Also, i have trouble believing that someone that passive could win in 30/60.

What about calling the flop and then check raising the turn? Then you can fold to a 3 bet because he isn't a aggressive player. I'm assuming you stop and go the turn because you want to get a 3rd bet in? Or did you just want to make it easier for him to call down? I think generally I would call the flop and check raise the turn, is that wrong?

I did the stop and go on the turn to try to three-bet because he'll usually raise with AQ or KQ here, and maybe something like JJ or TT. With a pfr of 7 though, it's not likely he'd have three-bet preflop with KQ. I'm not a fan of the turn check-raise though because it gives him a chance to fold a smaller pair for only one big bet, where he'd probably call the turn and river if i bet out.

Aggression factor of 1.5 is near perfect in my book. Also his play didn't seem so passive here, he bet and raised on every opportunity!
