Re: Empire Going public?
I can't see where regulators would care in the least whether people had multiple accounts at multiple skins. I think they would care that public companies think they have the right to call customers cheaters and ban them without explanation. I also think that regulators will not look too favorably on T&Cs that give the sites the right to seize your funds any time they like.

Re: Empire Going public?
Ummm...when did they come out and outright claim people they gave the boot to were 'cheating'? Cheating at poker is one thing...abusing a bonus system designed to reward frequent players and instill loyalty is quite another thing.

Re: Empire Going public?
Generally an IPO like this might not get to the public they offer to the major investment groups.
A site that lists new IPO's and if the prosepectus is out is www.iii.co.uk I think you have to register to see the new issues but there are forums there for each company etc. I dont see why US people cant buy in though as I can buy into US shares. |

Re: Empire Going public?
I believe the issue is simpler than that. Make the company look as profitable as possible before the offering to maximize your IPO stock value. Bonuses was an area that they felt they were losing money in my opinion.

Re: Empire Going public?
Because your government wants to protect its citizens from exploitative outsiders. Whatever that means.
