The big name pros are at Bellagio for the most part. They have a new high-limit area and I don't know that you can watch.
As to tough games, the simple test is to look outside. If it's daytime, the low limit games are a mix of retiree rocks and idiot tourists, so go to the pool or sleep. If it's night-time, the old folks have gone home for the night and it's just a bunch of idiot tourists. The later it gets, the drunker they get. Tough SS games after dark are hard to find. |

[ QUOTE ]
if you want to play the lowest limits, go to the palms because they have high hand jackpots. ie if you make a straight flush you could get anywhere from $300 to $600 just for playing there, plus, the blind are half blinds and it's a cool atmosphere if you are a tourist playing for fun. [/ QUOTE ] The Palms room was full of maniacs when I was there. And smokier than hell. Dude next to me damn near lit me on fire (and I don't normally mind smoke...). By the way, if you have a choice, don't stay at the Hilton, it is very inconvenient to everything (the monorail makes it a little better...if it's running while you're there.) |
