those advocating a fold either before or after the raise need to note that this is 6-handed. I would raise in EP here but so much depends on the flow of the game. Calling is automatic in this relative position to the raiser. I lead almost every flop putting pressure on the raiser who is likely to have junk as much as good cards. Proceed with caution if either the sb or button calls.

Isn't the point of position relative to the raiser that you're going to check just about anything if you know he will bet just about anything?

I raise 16% of my hands 6max, but I don't like raising KQ utg.

It seems people are advocating limping, folding and raising. Unusual. (I would rather raise than fold.)

well you can use rel position in two ways, to check a monster and trap bets or to bet a medium hand to assess hand strength (he has a few unknowns still yet to act so hes not gonna raise without some solid holding unless he has a kamikaze style)

Well, the problem is you too have a few unknowns left to act. If you check before you fire your bluff you know better where you're at. It's perhaps a good idea too, to play your bluffs and your monsters the same way. I suppose you can bet out to represent strength when you're just normally out of position asw well, don't see how that is "using" your relative position?

Your posts are very annoying. Post your response in the response area, not the subject area. Again, lower case is your friend.

As for the hand, raise KQo in this short-handed game, but fold to re-raise. As it played out, good fold.

6-max, open with a raise, fold to a big reraise.
10-max, limp UTG, fold to a raise.
