I cap preflop, but otherwise I play it the same.

Unless you have a really good read that BB was tight but tricky (which you didn't), I don't think you need to worry about being bluffed off your hand HU. The pot isn't too big and paying 2 BB to showdown isn't worth it IMHO.

I check the turn here and probably call the river but maybe fold.
Giving a free card can't hurt you, he never folds a better hand and probably will fold all hands worse than yours, a c/r which is likely costs you the chance to hit a two outer and sometimes might be a bluff could cost you the pot, and you get to showdown for the same amount. Lots of reasons not to bet (and the flop check is REALLY weird he has top two or a set a lot here.)
