By leading out, you might have gotten a few calls to pad the pot and give you better odds at drawing for your ten.

[/ QUOTE ]

You don't know that you are drawing, you think have you have the best at the moment.
In this big pot a flop bet doesn't protect your hand against some crappy underpairs or weak draws.
Since the pfr was from LP a c/r is the best play here, to face the field with two bets cold in this big pot.

I think your play here is much better than anyone saying to lead this flop.

I agree with everyone who thinks your play was correct.

Low limits does seem to have some very passive players like BB was at times. I think that might be because they are new and trying to be cautious.

I dont think that you could do anything about the possibility that you were behind. Its frustrating but at least you lost less than you might have done if BB had been more agressive on the turn or river.

Stick around, you've got a lot to contribute.

No sarcasm.

How does he know he's behind on the flop? Even if he does betting out isn't going to accomplish much.

[/ QUOTE ]

I didn't mean that he should assume that he was. But considering the PF action, there are only a couple of hands that would cold call two and beat us on the flop. Mainly AQo or AJo. Then we would have to think we're ahead and bet out.

However, after looking it over, I have to agree protecting the pot is best.

I'm greedy and have much to learn.
