[ QUOTE ]

Does anyone else thinks it's a terrible idea for him, in the middle of all these issues he's having, to issue open challenges-which hypothetically will only be answered by the best- for 500K a pop

[/ QUOTE ]

I actually think playing high-stakes poker with his reputation on the line is what keeps him from going off the rails so, no. I think its a very good idea. As he is unquestionably one of the very best players in the world what's the problem?

KILL MYSELF NOOB???? wow, kind of harsh don't you think. I didn't know I got to you personally by objecting to your nonsense post-critiquing someone elses blog about their blog is somewhat ridiculous dont you think? especially for an educated man like yourself and those strenuous 10 hour days you've been working, I mean if the life of Daniel Negreanu, or finding ways to berate him out of jealousy really means that much to you maybe you should seek help or start working 24 hour days

If you'd pay attention, you'd know that I like the guy. I'm just poking fun at him. That's not allowed? I've looked through some of your posts. It seems like all you do is come on and defend your heroes. I think you areDaniel Negreanu. Either way, don't delude yourself into thinking that your idol and role model is going to see you defending him on a message board and invite you to a private lesson...

So break this down for me again...

Two sentences = too much time on my hands? Something like that? In the words of the great Otto, "Get in the coffin." Your idols don't need you to defend them, especially against a little good-natured ribbing, you ass.

well I'm glad you checked me out, I do defend those I admire that are constantly ribbed on this site,(e.g. josh arieh, DN, Tuan Le, etc.) out of the respect of being a fan. They are not my heros, they are simply poker players and thats that nor do I seek recognition from them or anybody else, I could care less, and I'm sure they have more important things to worry about than a bunch of red asses ribbing them on a forum.

The problem I had with your response to my post was the "Kill yourself" quote wich was totally out of line.

I say that to everyone. You should take it as a compliment. Die.

What better way to appreciate someone then by telling them to hop in a shallow grave?

[ QUOTE ]
I'm not blaming for anything, and I certainly am not a pc facist. If anything, I love the guy for how sincerely clueless he is sometimes. Calling somebody a cripple is a little, I don't know...

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree it might not have been the most tactful of ways to say it. But one thing about Daniel that most people love is his complete honesty. So as I always tell the people that work for me " take the good withthe bad".
