I hate the flop call..raise the pot

I think it's a debtable yet +EV laydown.. looks too much like AQ

[/ QUOTE ]

why raise the flop?

get it in middle before scare cards that complete straight/flushdraws and you lose your AA/KK/AQ customers
also, 3rd player gets good pot odds to chase after straight/flush if you cold call.

ok i agree, but only because there is a flush and straight draw on the flop, what do you think if the board was rainbow QT2 or Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ?

i'll give you some more insight into my thought process at the time so you guys can try to avoid it:

he went all in? he's got AA. what else could he have? let's seeeeee...... he could haaaaaaave, ummmm, AK maybe?CALL

moral of the story? don't try to find hands that you can beat and then convince yourself he might have them so you can call
