Re: Poker nightmares
[ QUOTE ]
So think about the hand replaying while you are sleeping as free practice which requires no work on your part. Not nightmares. [/ QUOTE ] That would be great, wouldn't it? Sadly, place cells are used for storing and processing spatial information. They aren't going to make you a better poker player, but if you get lost in the woods.... EDIT: Not to say this mental "rush" of hands following a marathon session doesn't serve a purpose. How memory works is still somewhat of a mystery, however there needs to be some sort of cognitive sorting and storing. Maybe were just Dewey Decimaling these hands to simplify future retrieval. |

Re: Poker nightmares
I dream of winning bad beat jackpots once a month. It's nice.

Re: Poker nightmares
[ QUOTE ]
It really seems to keep me from getting a good, "restful" night of sleep when this happens. [/ QUOTE ] I took the night off of poker and watched boon dock saints last night with my girl friend, Got some tail and then went to bed. I had the best night of sleep I have had in a while |

Re: Poker nightmares
Same thing happens to me except for I usually end up thinking of what ifs? What if that turn was a spade instead of a club and how the hand would play from there.
