[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Would doing this on purpose be considered an angle shoot? [/ QUOTE ] I think it would. Basically, by doing this, one has the option of staying on "away" status with no further risk, [/ QUOTE ] Jumping back in the fray is one thing, but if the site has no all-in protection, then being "away" can only hurt you, not help you if there's a bet coming around. You'll fold the hand. If hero had be unlucky to face a bet when all this happened, he would have had his nut hand folded for him. [/ QUOTE ] Oops; I stand corrected. I was assuming it behaved like disconnect protection with the added ability to rejoin the hand later. Yeah, if there is a risk of being folded, it's definitely not an angle-shoot even if done on purpose. -Mike [/ QUOTE ] I was only able to jump back in because I clicked the "I'm Back" button before it got back to my turn. The point is - an alert player could time them selves into away, auto check, and sit back in immediately. |
