Default Re: Poll: 76 in BB

ok I wanted to post this hand because the result was a huge pot and I posted the hand on www.fulltiltforum.com and one player refuted my call preflop and challenged my entire no limit hold'em game. So here's how the hand went:

I have 76o in the BB

the flop is 854r. I check. The original raiser bets and gets called by the button. I make a good sized raise, about whats in the pot. The raiser calls, and the button folds. I then manage to get his entire stack in the middle on the turn, and he has 85s, with 2 pair and 4 outs. Of course he hits a 5 on the river and takes down the $4400 pot.

Thanks for everyone's input. I have looked into the odds of the situation and I'm not sure that the odds of flopping at least trips will not account for the implied odds such as those that I got on this hand. Thoughts?
