If you have a flush draw, even a low flush draw, you're making money for every bet that goes into the pot with 2 or more opponents, assuming the board isn't paired. You should be looking to get the flop capped, if possible. If you have overcards, a pair, or some sort of straight draw, your equity is even higher. Ram 'em, jam 'em, and reel in a fat pot. On the turn, though, if you miss, your equity is significantly reduced, so you'll have to reevaluate how strong your draw is and how many opponents you have, if it's good enough to keep jamming, or if you should just check/call. [/ QUOTE ] (ahem... unless you're against a set) (ahem aheam... this is when you're considering pot odds flop to river, you also must consider effective odds (paying on the turn when you miss) and implied odds (will you get later action) You did mention to slow down on the turn though, which was good. |
