Default Re: Can 30 vip and 20 pfr be optimal?

This is really weird, and I'm sure it's incorrect, but my intuitive response to many limpers and lots of calling is to tighten up.

For example in a 5-handed 1-2 game with me on the button with Q9o both of the players before me typically call, and I fold. Same situation in a 10-20 game, typically both players before me fold and I raise, or one limps and I raise. If both limp or one raises I fold, but two folders or one limper is much more common it seems.

Also I steal much more one or even two off the button in 10-20 than in lower limits because people are much less likely to coldcall, and when they do I can usually put them on a decent range of hands.

Bottom line is that for me, so far in my poker career(currently at 10-20), my VPIP has naturally increased every time I move up. It is now at a whopping 36.6. Anyone else seeing this trend in their play?
