So am I the only one that loves playing suited connectors in big pots? I will call 2 bets with them as long as I'm not alone with the raiser. They're some of my biggest winners at Party .50/1.

I feel like learning this play is going to be bad news for me. Not bad for my first try though. A double belly buster + overcard makes it less trasnsparent than a flush draw though, right?

You just have to pick your spots with it. dont get carried away as if they find out what u are up to they will call u down.
But say same flop same turn and your opponent does indeed have AK, he very likely could fold it...just think of what your opponent has, what type of player he is and if he is able to fold unimproved overcards or low pp. In this case it work out perfectly, he called the turn raise and folded to the turn bet. Most likely he didnt hit his draw but either way, it worked out. |
