Default Re: AJ Question for Peter_rus

[ QUOTE ]
The reason I ask is I gave up on AJo in EP because I felt like a common outcome would be I get 3-bet by AK and AQ, hit the ace and feel dumb calling down and seeing the showdown. I feel dumber if I get crazy and CR the flop, get 3-bet and then call it down. I wanted to find out, if I add it back, should I be calling down or giving up in some situations. Your answer was clear in the HU situation.

I pay off these situations routinely and my AJo still shows profit in all 3 UTG's positions.

The reason my AJ does it i believe is:

- i catch blinds occasionally
- i catch loose coldcaller or two some of time with something like hopeless QTs or KJo.
- people rarely fold KK or QQ on A-high flop and people often try to push them too hard. People rarely give you credits on a jack-high board for a jack.
- i have easy folds most of the time postflop as 3-betting with AT- and Kxs are pretty uncommon at 15/30 and/or against me.
-meaningfull amount of time i will be called only by blind(s) - obviously my hand will be good here majority of the time.
