The exact same problem happened with Party for me yesterday. I had to reboot my computer to open it again. And I tried the CTRL-ALT-DLT thing and Party wasn't running.

Did you check under the Processes tab?

This has happened to me several times since the upgrade. Instead of writing out the updates to the notes.txt file and exiting, the process is hanging. You can open the Task Manager and kill the process using Ctrl-Alt-Delete. This will allow you to play again. However the notes you took during the session are lost. There are indications that the problem happens *because* I take notes. I've never seen a skin process hang like this when I opened it for some other purpose and didn't actually play and take notes.
