I also thought Lee was outplayed by both Brenes and Temp. I wanted to see either of those two win and Lee lose, but obviously it wasn't meant to be. Luck was on Lee's side. But what can you do? Just strap in a little tighter and sign up for the next tourney. Although you GOTTA be upset after losing $600,000 to someone playing worse than you.

I couldn't stand Tuan and wanted him to lose much like everyone else here, but quit with the complaining about him sucking out. Is that not part of Poker? Don't you have to face the fact that even when you play the best hand and play it by the book you will sometimes lose? That is the nature of the game, deal with it and move on. Those "best hands" will sometimes lose, all you can do is to keep playing the best way you know how and eventually you should beat the suck outs. Go ahead complain about how dumb Tuan sounded or how he seemed in capable of throwing his chips in right, but quit complaining about suckouts, you guys sound like Helmuth. [/ QUOTE ] Sucking out sure is part of poker. Doesn't mean you can't vent about it. I mean if the young man was kind, respectful, and acted like he was lucky when he got lucky(instead of acting like that's what's supposed to happen). Someone would say "good luck" and he wouldn't even acknowledge them. I'm not a very good poker player because my memory isn't the best BUT his luck was scary and he acted like he outplayed em all. Dragon A9 Tuan A4 Tuan wins Berman KK Tuan AK Tuan wins Tuan 78 Temp 9Q(Ithink it was a Queen) Tuan wins Didn't he suck out on Brenes as well? Don't get me wrong the fella was RELENTLESS. He wasn't scared and when you play that way then you do come across lucky. His AK was supposed to win 32% of the time against Berman's KK. Rant over |

It was K9.
Tuan did come back over quickly and congratulate Temp on a great game, and tell him he was a very tough opponent. Temp also said "I thought I had you" and Tuan said "You did". I didn't like him either, but he seemed to play playing to win, and making some PF call to take the pot away post flop, then getting stuck making some nasty calls ala Gus Hansen. For example, the 84s vs AQs hand, he called a big PF raise, then on the rag board was getting about 2:1 on him money to call Temp's all-in. If he didn't figure temp for a pocket pair he was getting close enough odds with 10 outs. I hated the play, but there was probably some logic behind it. |

But $600,000? I lost a $35,000 dollar real money pot in a tourney once and I still think about it. 600 is a lot of money
