Hmm, i think fold the flop here. My thought process goes something like this.

1. That is a pretty big flop bet. I think he is likely to push all in on a lot of turns. I don't feel like most unknowns will toss out this big of a bet planning to back down to resistance.

2. I am not particularly thrilled about calling a turn all-in with my TT here on even the ideal turn.

3. Also, there are a lot of problematic turns: a diamond, A, 6, 7, etc. If you are planning to fold against a push on many of these, he has a lot of bluff equity in addition to whatever his hand is.

4. On top of all this, there is sorerichard to worry about.

Into the muck it goes.

is it bad that my usual play here would be to fold the flop in such a position and against such (short) stacks?

Generally, I think it is bad. But of course it's all dependant on table dynamics. Who's betting, their position, what's your read of them, etc.

1) I call the flop.

2) Once sorerichard calls the flop and other dude leads into me like that with richard behind me, easy fold.

IMO, sorerichard is quite possibly the best Stars NL regular.

Default Flop Hypotheticals

Hey all,

What do we think that ZJ should do on the flop if he holds 77? What if he holds KK?

If RIchard does have QQ-AA, why is he justified in not raising the flop?
