After 75k hands, I finally experienced the notorious disappearing button bug for the first time - on simultaneous tables, within 30 minutes of downloading the new version, and once with pocket kings of course... eff party. [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

This happened to me in a SnG. After tripling up in round one and eliminating two players. The buttons dissappeared about ten hands later. I left the table and was unable to rejoin. I got blinded out in 4th place. I already sent an email to support and I know I'll get my buyin back, but it sucks because I had more equity than that in the table.

Quite possible, the tables I've been joining have not had the # of people it said quite frequently.

I wouldn't count on it.
It's POSSIBLE you'll get your money back...but party will only know that you left the table and didn't play any more hands. They will think there was a disconnect on your end.
Who knows if they will actually be smart enough to believe you that your buttons disappeared. I'd say there is a reasonable chance that they don't.

I can just imagine players doing some sort of cyber-squeeze as they squint at each card.

I prefer the current version where so many players use the advance-action check-boxes thus increasing the speed of the game.
Measures that will slow down the game are not helpful imo....but I guess if they were to help the fish have more fun then.....well.......I guess it might not be so terrible.

Today I had a table that randomly closed in the middle of a hand. I don't have the hand history because I couldn't import it into PT. But I looked at the hh right after it happened and it went like this:

Dealing flop: xx xx xx
xxx bets
xxx calls
xxx folds
This table has closed for some reason.

Fortunately, I had junk and folded preflop. The money I had at the table took about 20 minutes to get back to my account.

I don't know if this was because of the update, but it never happened before.
