getting 9:1 on the turn i'm not folding here, theres a good chance you're drawing very live here and *might* be chopping, though i lean towards fold the river UI, but jump for joy if he checks it to you.

can you explain how it can be correct for you to call AKo on the turn getting 9:1 when you are planning on folding the river UT, with BK behind you?

Board 8877. 17.5 small bets.

BK 3 bet preflop and did not raise the flop. It's reasonable to think that he might have an Ace. If you and bk have an Ace, the other guy's preflop cap is probably with a pocket pair. Very unlikely to be AA, somewhat unlikely to be KK and quite likely to be QQ, JJ or even TT depending on his aggression.

On that analysis, Ak has 5 outs. Call it 4 if you think some aren't clean. That's a 1 in 11 shot and with implied odds, you have it covered getting a current 9:1.

Sure, BK is behind you but his flop play is an indication that he doesn't have much and may fold the turn. If he raises, too bad so sad but that negative contingency is balanced by the positive contingency that BK will fold and you could easily be splitting against the preflop capper if he has just an Ace.

It's a close spot. I could fold or call and lose no sleep over it.
