The new room is going directly in the spot that the stage is located in the back of the casino. We're tearing out that stage. We've been trying to get away from the band for years. I'm a little worried that we'll be too busy when we get back there. We already have the lions share of the tunica action and the rest won't play because of the band being so loud. I can only imagine how busy we'll be with the room moving and all the cool things we're adding to go along with it. Sounds like fun.

As I was reading through this post about all the great things this new room would have the only thing I could think about was "Who cares? It's moving away from the snack bar, that can't be good." Then I got to the part about the snack bar moving too, I was very relieved. The snack bar is EVERYTHING.

Geez guys.

The burgers are good but they aren't the end-all, be-all.

Then again if you're a Tunica regular and have had the little weenies on toothpicks at Gold Strike and/or those toxic-dogs at the Grand then I guess I can see why you are so keen on the H.S. snack-bar.

I like the fact that when you get a Coke there they don't give you a little shot-glass of soda like they do at the Gold Strike. I'm kinda thirsty afterall (hence the reason I ordered a drink) and 3 ounces of soda just ain't gonna cut it people.

This new room sounds really good. The main reason I like the GS bettr now is because the poker room is more open. I don't like having a wall behind me when I play. Hopefully the new room at the HS will be an upgrade there..

I know I'm in the minority--vast minority--but I like the live music nearby.

Then again, if I was in there every day, I might feel differently...

man....you guys know about all these different tournaments going on practically in my own back-yard.

Where are you getting all this tourney info of the various rooms there?

I'm just going on my memory, stuff people say here, and when I go to one of the casinos I look around for what's coming up.
