the person that has chosen to "steal" this code and piggyback on my hard work is jeremy enke from partyriches.com

i would steer clear of this site. i can't imagine he is trustworthy.

[/ QUOTE ]

sue him for trademark infringement.

[/ QUOTE ]

there is not much i can do but complain to fulltilt (done), write him an email (done), and tell you guys that he is not me (done).

[/ QUOTE ]

I dont know what kind of money you pull in from your paradise stuff to know whether it is worth doing something, but you do have legal rights beyond merely complaining to full tilt and to the guy.....it is irrelevant if you have your name registered or anything as he is using the same or confusingly similar mark to operate in the same line of business. It could come down to the legality of poker sites in the U.S. in general though which is suspect at best....

i've sent the forum-master this thread.

hopefully somethng can be done. i think this kid is a real scumbag. if you look at his site partyriches.com, it is apparent he like to steal lots of things.

there is no question that the value of the GRANNY code decreases when lazy imposters like this try and piggyback on all the money i have spent to market the code.

my first intentions are making sure that you guys know it is not me because if he is a ripoff kind of guy (likely), then i will suffer too if it is not clear that this is not my banner.

good call. Why did the mods even allow it?

in their defense sandman, i don't think they check unless there is a complaint. it is automated sign-up process.

is this the guy that'll be wearing the pink bunny suit at the main event? I swear I saw the pic of him at the computer on ebay when he was auctioning off the "billboard rights" for that bunny suit

please don't tell me it is same guy. the one that thought he could get 25k for wearing it?

i'm sure plenty of you can understand how angry i am at this point, but if it is same guy then he is a real tool and will probably not listen to reason.

perhaps it is time to spend some of my retainer and get a legal opinion as per PL's suggestion.

I'm not a lawyer of course....but I can't see what legal recourse you have.

"Hi...This guy has taken the name I use to sign-up players for quasi-legal off-shore gambling sites"
sounds to me to be pretty similar to
"That drug-dealer is using the same name I use to sell drugs. It's really hurting my business and I think I should sue."

i am very happy to report that the forum master is doing what he can for me.

Grinder, i am VERY sorry you were mislead. i'm going to get you an entry in the next toejam.

i'm going to stay out of and let this thread die so i don't exasperate the situation further. also, i need to allow time for the help i am getting on this issue to run its course and hopefully get resolved.

thx guys
