Re: Trainwreck of a poker career...where do I go from here?
Take $30, put it into a site with micro tables and start there. If you can't beat those games you're not ready for Party. I suggest the micro limit games at Pacific that if one giant fish bowl.
Post hands in the micro forum but more importantly respond to others posts. THAT's how you learn poker. I started with $75 and now I'm adequately bankrolled for 3/6. It's been a great learning experience. Good luck. |

Re: Trainwreck of a poker career...where do I go from here?
From my own experience I will tell get worse for a short period of time after i read the books. because i try to do wht is in the books to the letter. poker is a game of now...who is in the hand? how much do they have how are they betting. the books only give you general rules how you apply them is up to you.i am not a great player but i do win more than i lose..generally when i do bad online it is because my patients has run out. also you may be trying to make money to fast. when i first started i made that mistake. remember a take a little from everyone not alot from one. hope this helps

The BEST way to learn after reading all the required books is to post hands on 2+2.
