Pancakes are a great breakfast. Get the eggs over easy and put them on top of the pancakes, after adding lots of butter, and soak the entire stack in maple syrup. Guaranteed Good. Get a large glass of fresh squeezed orange juice, if possible. If not, go for a large glass of grapefruit juice.
I use to go to a great specialty pancake house on Sundays. Belgian waffles were a favorite as were a German pancake – some very large pancake that filled the whole plate and even turned up on the outer edge, powered sugar on it etc. -Zeno

My first major disagreement with Zeno. Bagels pwn. Bagels and lox are great, although I don't get the capers. Not needed. Those pankes with powdered sugar are gay, although I can't say for sure that they are retarded.

Cooked hash browns with fresh garlic, onion, red pepper, and some prosciutto. Topped with shredded cheese and melted all the cheese in the oven. Then topped with eggs. HDPW made some toast w/ pugliese bread. Pretty good. Perhaps not up to san francisco standards but better than that pancake Zeno described.
