About a year ago, I incurred some rather large and unexpected bills. Poof! went the bankroll.

I figured it was a minor set back. I grinded up from nothing once and I was sure I would be able to do it again. As it turned out the second time around was a lot harder. I found it pyschologically difficult to step down 5-6 levels.

My advice is to find someone who will stake you. Don't bother looking for someone here to stake you. We're all smart enought not to stake someone who steamed offed $122K in one month.

Sorry to hear about your lack of discipline. Here's what you do.

1. Commit to behaving like an adult who has responsibilities.

2. Start exercising, eating, etc. on schedule.

3. Switch to NL Holdem (providing you know NL holdem a bit). With a 6k roll, you'll be good to go at party NL 200.


Play tight as a bugs ass and nutpeddle. Move up when you have 30 buyins for next level.
