Those knowledgable players seem to be much more humble and searching.

[/ QUOTE ]

If Sklansky answered in a manner in which you approved would that make his advice more valuable? There was absolutely no need for a post of this nature. You should thank the two individuals that you named for taking time to participate and just let it go at that!

it's hard not to think yourself above them.

Are you speaking of Phillips or "yourself"? Seems you are the one doing the talking. And who established that David Sklansky is an egotist? When you speak of "garbage on this forum" start with your own remarks.

You're part of the problem. You've never posted anything remotely valuable on these forums and only spread animosity. You're very sad.

Being new to this forum, something surprises me. Sklansky and Philips and in my opinion some other top players (not so conclusive evidence so I won't name them in case I am wrong) very often answer arrogantly when opposed.

[/ QUOTE ]

It tends to correlate with the quality of the "opposition". Unfortunately this forum is heavily populated by nimrods and I admit I provide them with more attention than they deserve. If you choose to judge me solely by what I write here that's your right, but you're just a blind man feeling up an elephant.

[ QUOTE ]
I will never become as good as these players, but I know that the day your mentality has become such, you are just a sitting duck waiting to be outclassed by more open-minded challengers.

[/ QUOTE ]

I occasionally amuse myself by making fun of certain highly deserving targets. If that means I'm doomed in poker then oh well. It was fun while it lasted.

[ QUOTE ]
The real master is the one who realizes that he just borrowes that title and does not own it.

[/ QUOTE ]

Pithiness, thy name is Arnfinn Madsen.

One of the most interesting remarks I've ever read. You truly are a man of character with unparralled humility. Others here that follow you and love you are indeed wise in their admiration. Hail! Caesers! Master, forgive me the errors of my ways..

That's not even close to funny Vincent. In my brief time at twoplustwo you are the worst poster I've encountered. You have deserved the ridicule you've received.
