Default Re: Blind Defense Against Semi-Skilled LAGs

I've found that Lost Wages is right on the money. As a blind stealer, I have found the need to slow down or stop trying to steal the blinds of players who will reraise me even ocassionally. If someone reraises often enough and shows down junk, my steals are not going to be effective, so I'll start calling the from CO and Button and just play my best poker.

BTW, I don't feel I'm a LAG, but I will be happy to stick it to any blinds that do not wish to defend themselves, and often those who often try to defend by just calling everything.

So, all in all, I think the best thing to do is reraise with a solid hand, as Lost Wages says. And, even if you are sure you are behind, call down and show it. Then, reraise the next couple of times your blind is open raised by the same player and bet out on the flop since you have that position. You'll slow down the blindstealer on your blinds AND you'll set him up for a big take later.
