I've invested a grand total of $1.10 so far -- won through Level 1 and Level 2 SnGs on Prima, still 3 levels to go to get to the MTT.

I clearly suck.

I got in on my second double shootout on stars. In for 320. Trying to win another seat on stars though for the New Orleans Circuit event. Hopefully I can do that soon. I've blown 320 more on those tourneys thus far.

I am planning to take two stabs at the $650 Stars qualifier. I figured all the "good" players will have their seats by early June. I will play my tournaments in mid-June. Hopefully, my theory will hold true and the field will be "softer".

I might try a double shootout. I think they should call it a double crap-shoot out, but we will see.

Down $27 on Stars on a rebuy. I had the theory too that it would be easier the later the sats go on. I am going to Vegas in early May and maybe will play some sats out there as well.

Does anybody know about the vegas sats for WSOP? Buy in,where, strucutres, etc?

Spent $16.50 so far. I've entered 3 TEC tournaments at UB and have gotten a chip in 2 of them. Played in the $100 qualifier with 180 other people last week. Was down to 40 people and I was in 3rd place. Got AK, flop AKx, went all in, got called by 2nd place who was sitting next to me. He had K6 and got runner runner 6's to beat me. A .3% chance.

Still got 1 TEC left, can't figure out when the best time to use it will be. Anyone know which WSOP tournaments on UB have the least number of entries/most fish?

As I posted in another thread, I can't play in the WSOP due to my stupid [censored] insensitive friend planning his marriage on the beginning weekend of the main event. I am, however, playing in many of the $27 rebuys to the $615 and stockpiling the W$ for the WCOOP. So far, 5 rebuys entered for a total of $435 and three seats for W$650 won, netting me $1,515.

Default PartyPoker qualifiers

Does anybody think the WSOP package deal in PartyPoker is pretty bad?

I mean, look at the fees for the $300 tournament. $28 !!!

And then, the package is $13500; $10000 seat, $1500 cash and $2000 for 10 nights hotel !!. I think I can get a better deal for Hotel using the internet, even at the Venetian or Bellagio. And I really don't think they are talking about a hotel like the Venetian, when they say "luxury" hotel.

I don't really get what's the point for Party trying to rip off their customers. It's just bad business.

Just stick with qualifying on Stars. It's a much classier operation and there is still plenty of dead money in the satellites. Also, the free hotel option is definitely worth something.
