Yeah but if a TAG did have something like 66/77, what does he think that he's ahead of on this board behind a bet and a raise?

What are the top 11% of hands? They don't include Axs, and ATs and better are getting raised by 11% PFRs. So if I believe your stats he doesn't have an Ace.

Should've added that it was a limited sample, around 30 hands.

Everytime you play this hand and someone has an ace or 88 you are going to lose 3-4 BB postflop. I think too much attention is being paid to the dumdum and not enough attention to the four limpers behind you. Of course, even dumdums sometimes have an ace when they bet like this.

It's really sad but I think the percentage play is to fold immediately when the ace hits and the bet comes through you. One of your five opponents is likely to have you beat and there is no practical way to diagnose the situation without paying for a showdown. Limping aces will neither fold nor challenge you because they know you may have second pair or a big ace. They'll just call you down.

Also the worst play on the flop is raising. This is a rare multiway way-ahead or way-behind situation. You already have aces up on a rainbow flop with no straight draws. If you have the best hand your opponents have very few outs to catch you.

If you want to play on you should call the flop and play for overcalls. Minimize the cost because you are often behind; get as many people as possible contributing dead money in case you are ahead or spike a queen.
