What do you think you're giving away by completing on third? If you win the antes, great. If everyone calls, great. A big, live three-flush is worth a raise about every time.

Yes I take your point.
I was just thinking that by raising in early position with 2 Qs out my opponents would almost certainly put me on a flush draw or a pocket pair...since I 'd be unlikely to be ante-stealing from the early position and probably haven't got a pair of Qs.

I keep a pack of tissues next to my computer for just such occurrences.
They come in handy for other things too.
Wiping the screen clear of dust for example...

no problems, you played it fine and got a bit of a fishy call from a player that ended up busting you. Sometimes life sucks.

I think a lot of guys keep a box of Kleenex next to their computers, even the ones who don't play poker....
