buying house with fiance = terrible idea

wait until she is your wife and then buy the house or just buy it in your name.

If they're getting married like next week/month I don't really see a problem but if the date is like june 2009 this might be an issue.

I still say - wait until it is either official or put it in your name. It will be a major pain in the butt when the wedding gets moved back, then postponed, then cancelled and you end up owning half a house with someone. Its just much easier to do it right.

lie. say its some earnings you get from a website or something. make it look like its either you make money or you dont, but you cant lose money.

I'm constantly amazed at the amount of loud mouthed, asinine advice from blowhard idiots here.

It is not a great idea to lie to your loan officer. However, if she were, based upon that lie, to come back with new documents for you to sign corraborating your newly learned occupation, you're in a world of hurt.
